Hotel receptionist

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Resident Manager from June 1, 2024 who has a real passion for the hotel industry and enjoys leading a team. Your tasks will include
- Team leadership and personnel management: You are responsible for leading, training and developing the team. This includes planning rosters, conducting staff appraisals and promoting team dynamics.
- Operational Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure that all departments are working efficiently and high standards of service are maintained.
- Marketing and Sales: Working with the marketing and sales team to promote the hotel, develop promotional strategies and attract new sources of business.
- Reservation management: Monitoring and optimization of reservation processes, including coordination between online booking platforms and reception to ensure maximum occupancy and satisfaction.
- Guest Services: Ensuring an excellent guest experience from arrival to departure. This includes handling complaints and ensuring that all guest requests are dealt with promptly and professionally.
What you should bring with you:
- You embody excellent service, professional aplomb and genuine hospitality.
- You have experience in the hotel industry or a degree in tourism.
- You have management experience and may have already been involved in the opening of new hotels.
- You are always attentive and open to the concerns of your guests.
- Your German and English skills are excellent.
- Your positive attitude sets you apart at all times.
- Ideally you already have experience with Protel reservation system
- You attach great importance to a well-groomed appearance and impeccable manners.
